What We Did
GREEN GRADS were invited by Media 10 the organisers of GRAND DESIGNS LIVE in ExCel Docklands London to host a 15 metre run of stand in the new GREEN LIVING section of their show in May 2022. It was a big success attracting a wide audience and several visits from acclaimed TV star and eco-campaigner Kevin McCloud who invited two of our GREEN GRADS up on stage for one of his excellent talks.

What We Did
Over 20 GREEN GRADS took part (selected by our founder/curator Barbara Chandler) with plinths (made by our co-director Michael Czerwinski who masterminded the whole affair from set-up to take-down) and shelves to show their work. Sustainable banners were specially printed by our sponsor Imageco. We saved off-cuts from the brightly-coloured carpet and Michael through his Studio Tucktite will design a huge mobile for the centrepiece of GRAND DESIGNS LIVE in Birmingham in October 2022. This will be fabricated by GREEN GRADS and will be a powerful statement on re-using salvaged waste – a key component of GREEN GRADS’ activism.
